Hobbit fears

So i (hopefully) see The Hobbit tomorrow… and im afraid. Not that i may not see it, but because it might just suck. It is directed NOT by Del Toro, but by Peter Jackson, the same one who’s idea of a good LotR movie is arwen warrior princess, mary sue frodo, aragorn the coward, filmamir, teen-heartthrob legolas, gimli the comic relief, racist elves, scary galadriel and all those motherfucking ELVES at this motherfucking Helm’s Deep!

In The Hobbit, he now has THIRTEEN dwarves to use as comic relief, dozens of teen heartthrobs (martin freeman, kili and fili, c*mberbatch and legolas appearing for NO reason at all!!!) as well as turning a children’s story into another needlessly epic movie (just like Alice in Wonderland and Snow White and the Huntsman).

Not to mention, TDKR wasn’t as good as the hype made it out to be, so i fear that Jackson is going to ruin The Hobbit just like he did with The Two Towers…

I Got Something To Say!!!

(and it’s not that I killed your baby, lol)

But I’ve been really pissed off at all these “No Bill Ward No Black Sabbath” whiners, so I thought I’d set the record straight…

If you say that this isn’t Black Sabbath…

Then this is not Black Sabbath…

And THIS is most definitely NOT Black Sabbath either…

Soul Calibur Film Cast: My Suggestions

You remember some time ago, I proposed the question as to the possibility of a Soul Calibur film and who you would choose for a cast. Though I still have more suggestions (just wait till we get to Ivy and Tira), I’m going to share my thoughts on the idea as well.

Sophitia is one of our favorite characters, and has been in (almost) every installment of the series. Any film about Soul Calibur will have to include her, even if it is Soul Calibur V (flash-backs and Elysium). All hotness aside, she was the one who first destroys half of Soul Edge in Soul Edge/Soul Blade, making her important to the progression of the story.

Your Choice:

Charlize Theron

My Choice:

Diane Kruger

Reasons: Aside from looking like Sophitia outwardly, she looks good in a toga (in that god-awful movie Troy). Her voice, also, has that warm quality which, I believe, is very important to the character of Sophitia. She might not exactly be an “action star” (aside from National Treasure, but that might have been stunt-crew work), but, aside from the fact that she wields a sword, Sophitia is much deeper than just an “action heroine.”

Cassandra, Sophitia’s tough, sassy younger sister, appeared first in Soul Calibur II and returned for every other game (save, of course, for Soul Calibur V). Though she might not have as big a role in the story as her sister or Siegfried, any Soul Calibur movie that has Sophitia would have to include Cassandra. Her whole reason for leaving home is to protect Sophitia and her children from Soul Edge.

Your Choice:

So far, three choices were given for this character. However, the majority of votes were for this actress in particular.

Dakota Fanning

My Choice:

Kaley Cuoco

Reasons: Though not entirely “comic relief”, Cassandra certainly is more accident-prone than her sister (her Soul Calibur III ending has her break her sword, the canon says that her weapons broke before SCIII and, in her SCIV ending, she breaks Soul Edge and Soul Calibur). Having played a sassy, semi-humorous role on television, Kaley Cuoco strikes me as the ideal choice for Cassandra.
