Okay, so a lot of people are sharing their thoughts on the announcement of Wonder Woman in the Batman vs Superman film. I thought I’d weigh in on the conversation. I think that it is quite possible for a Wonder Woman movie to be made and made well. It would be difficult, yes, but it would not be impossible. To that end, I will discuss my thoughts on what I would do if I were in charge of a Wonder Woman film.
(i would also add “Glee stars” because then it would be “The Glee Cast take on Wicked the Musical” and it needs to stand on its own two feet, like The Sound of Music or My Fair Lady. Those were big musicals back in the day and I’m sure there were hipsters who complained that you just couldn’t make them into good movies: they’re fucking classics now! Wicked could be that if done just right…)
(but, we live in a world of JJ Abrams and Michael Bay, where George Lucas sold Star Wars to Disney, so my hopes are not even built up at all…)
Servius Crixus, veteran of the Great War, former Imperial Legion commander, Nightingale, Listener of the Dark Brotherhood, gifted by Akatosh with the Voice, pretty much hates all Nords and yet has been ordered to Skyrim to circumvent both Ulfric and the Thalmor, distantly related to the Hero of Kvatch…yeah, Sam Worthington gets typecast as a douche-bag antihero again (lol)
hmm, what do you think about Robin Wright Penn (aka. “Buttercup”) as Laila the Lawgiver, “Jarl” of Riften?
hmm, maybe. what do you think, is Jeremy Irons an appropriate Felldir?
hmm, Brendan Gleeson certainly strikes me as Hakon One-Eye…
how about the amazing Cate Blanchett as Gormlaith?
Joan Allen, who played Delphine in Skyrim, should reprise her role in my dream-cast for a Skyrim movie, don’t you think so?
