Okay, we all expect our musicians to do “their own thing” and not be swayed by public opinion or change their sound for the sake of others…yet when such musicians actually do that, when they don’t give a shit about opinions and actually do their own thing, they get death threats!

How the fuck am I supposed to make music when the whole world has given up on this generation?
You know, I’m starting to wonder about dead musicians, specifically the metal musicians. Randy Rhoads wanted to quit rock and roll before the plane accident, and Cliff Burton liked southern rock, yet people hold them up to such impossibly high standards.
So I wonder, do you all love them because they’re good, or because they died prematurely?
