From evening to morning
And morning to evening
I wanna drink
Something stronger than a man

From evening to morning
And morning to evening
I wanna drink
‘Cuz that’s what I am

Beer Beer!
I want beer
From beer I get really drunk
Beer Beer!
I need more beer
So much I pass out

Beer Beer!
I want beer
From beer I get really drunk
Beer Beer!
I need more beer
So much I pass out

For beer I’m working
For beer I’m fighting
For beer I’ll do
Whatever I have to

When drunk I’m talking
When drunk I’m joking
When drunk I can be as I’ve
Always wanted to be

Beer Beer!
I want beer
From beer I get really drunk
Beer Beer!
I need more beer
So much I pass out

Beer Beer!
I want beer
From beer I get really drunk
Beer Beer!
I need more beer
So much I pass out

Beer Beer!
I want beer
From beer I get really drunk
Beer Beer!
I need more beer
So much I pass out

Beer Beer!
I want beer
From beer I get really drunk
Beer Beer!
I need more beer
So much I pass out

Beer Beer!
Beer Beer!
Beer Beer!
Beer Beer!

Korpiklaani - Beer Beer

Songs of Middle Earth

A lot of hardcore Tolkien fans criticized the lack of Tolkien’s songs in Peter Jackson’s movies. What they didn’t know is that a lot of the songs actually DID make it into the movies (EE denotes an appearance in the extended edition of the films)

1. First time we see Gandalf, he is singing “The Road Goes On”, and later Bilbo sings it as he should when he’s leaving Hobbiton

2. EE - Green Dragon tavern, Merry and Pippin are jumping on the table singing a verse from “To the Bottle I Go”…

3. EE - …then break into a modified verse of “The Bath Song” from A Conspiracy Unmasked, the chapter that didn’t make it into the movies

4. EE - Frodo and Sam see the Elves in the forest, singing a Sindarin version of “Elbereth Gilthoniel” (one of the BEST moments of FotR ever!)

5. EE - the Elves of Lothlorien singing the lament for Gandalf (i don’t have a translation, but i’m guessing its Tolkien’s words) and Sam’s verse about Gandalf’s fireworks

6. While not sung, Gollum chants a revised version of the Barrow-spell from Fog on the Barrow-downs to Frodo when he’s talking about Smeagol’s past

(at this point, singing is almost completely exorcised, so recitations of Tolkien verse will be included as well)

7. EE - Treebeard’s song about the Rowan trees

8. EE - the few verses from “The Song of the Entwives”

9. Gollum singing his song about fish at Henneth Annun

10. Theoden recites the Lay of Eorl the Young before the Battle of Helm’s Deep

11. Gollum sings his song of fish again during the intro of RotK

12. Pippin sings a portion of his part of the traveling song from Three is Company (incorrectly titled “the edge of night”) to Denethor

13. EE - Legolas recites the words of Malbeth the Seer, concerning Aragron, as they approach the Paths of the Dead

14. Aragorn, newly crowned King of Gondor, sings the words of Elendil

So yeah, some of Tolkien’s songs actually made it into the movie. Thankfully that god-awful cartoon diddy “where there’s a whip there’s a way” NEVER appeared! Tolkien didn’t write it and its silly, stupid and out of character for evil, bloodthirsty orcs to be singing, much less a ridiculous song such as THAT!

Well, people look and people stare
Well, I don’t think that I even care
You work your life away and what do they give?
You’re only Killing Yourself to Live
Killing Yourself to Live
Killing Yourself to Live

Just take a look around you, what do you see?
Pain, suffering and misery
It’s not the way that the world was meant
It’s a pity you don’t understand
Killing Yourself to Live
Killing Yourself to Live

I’m telling you
Believe in me
Nobody else will tell you
Open your eyes
And see the lies, oh yeah

Smoke it! Get high!

You Think That I’m Crazy, and baby
I know that it’s true
Before you know it, I think
That you’ll go crazy, too

I Don’t Know If I’m Up or Down
Whether black is white or blue is brown
The colors of my life are all different somehow
Little boy blue’s a big girl now

So you think it’s me who’s strange
But you’ve never had to make the change
Never give your trust away
You’ll end up paying ‘till your dying day

Black Sabbath - Killing Yourself to Live - You Think That I’m Crazy - I Don’t Know If I’m Up or Down

I Have a Problem…

I used to know all the lyrics for this amazing album so well, I could sing along to every song off this album. Unfortunately, thanks to my Black Sabbath-hating younger brother (which, because he now has a job, he’s become quite an ass, and still gets his way all the time), I don’t listen to Sabbath as much as I used to and therefore I’ve forgotten the words to “Planet Caravan” and “Hand of Doom”

Across your face
I see what you are
You wanna kill the sun
Blot out the stars

I know you, you’re nothing
You’re so small
You’re fucking nothing
Nothing at all

The sun burns on
It reminds me of you
The slit wrists of the sky!
Bleeding into The Blue

We twist beneath forever
‘Cuz do you know what you’ve done?
Ants in the after-birth
We’re slugs under the sun

I could not wake the dead man dreaming, yeah
Acid party, murder at the late-show, oh yeah!
Mutate me, and feed yourselves a savior
I could not kill the dead man screaming

Eat my dead cock!
Oh yeah!
Eat my dead cock!
Oh yeah!

I have fallen deep in love with the sky
Fragments of the sunbeam glaring on the kitchen knife
Leaves will fall as everything must follow
Kill your idol, come on, jump into the void

Eat my cold shit!

Everybody whispers where birds fall dead
I smell the yellow sickness churning inside your head
Wiping flecks of foam, twisting with rabies
Bloody, we run through these fields of daises

How can I ever
Make you know what you’ve done?
Ants in the after-birth
We’re slugs under the sun

I have fallen in love with the sky
Fragments of sunbeam glaring on a kitchen knife

The principles of the nature
Firm shapes of consistency
A treasure concealed in time
Inevitable invincible an axiom

Diversity crafted by evolution
Yet the path of the future is carved in rock
As the horizontal horizon
As the vertical steeps of summits

The master and the apprentice
Forgotten moments in history
Mankind wanders, mountains stand still
The master and the slave
A congregation that never deceives
Mankind dies, havoc never stills

Fire oppose water
Water oppose fire
Earth oppose air
Air oppose earth

The way of the world
The route of existence
Worldwide - mankind’s resistance

The way of the world
The route of existence
Worldwide - nature’s persistence

Fire oppose water
Water oppose fire

The master and the apprentice
Forgotten moments in history
Mankind wanders, mountains stand still
The master and the slave
A congregation that never deceives
Mankind dies, havoc never stills
