I honestly thought things were looking up for me, but school crushed my hopes and dreams once again.

Wasn’t accepted for The Sound of Music (i’ve been rejected at almost all of the plays, musical and non-musical to which i have auditioned; what does that tell you?), won’t be seeing Orchid and i’m single again…

I’ve noticed something: television is destroying society. Here’s why…

Okay, every tv-show i’ve seen with gay people in them depicts them in a completely stereotypical fashion. You know, where gay women are big, bald, homely and tough while gay men are tiny, effeminate and fashionable. This I see as reinforcement of negative stereotypes about gay people, but what pisses me off more is that gay people are, apparently, totally okay with these stereotypical portrayals. Do you not want to be respected?

The next one goes for straight people as well. I’ve seen in tv shows that depict heterosexual unions, where the relationships are depicted as naturally being unfairly skewed in favor of women. In short, that a perfect relationship/wedding is one where the man has to make all the sacrifices and commitment, all the self-denial and change while the woman gets to sit back and reap all the benefits, knowing that she’s in complete dominion over her slave. That is NOT right! Take it from personal experience, that solution doesn’t work in real life. What it WILL do is create, at best, resentment and at worst, a new kind of misogyny.

Television is part of the problem, people.

It is Aesir or Asynja, NOT asgardian. Thor had red hair, heimdal wasn’t black and Alan Cummings was a better Loki than emo hiddleston

So i (hopefully) see The Hobbit tomorrow… and im afraid. Not that i may not see it, but because it might just suck. It is directed NOT by Del Toro, but by Peter Jackson, the same one who’s idea of a good LotR movie is arwen warrior princess, mary sue frodo, aragorn the coward, filmamir, teen-heartthrob legolas, gimli the comic relief, racist elves, scary galadriel and all those motherfucking ELVES at this motherfucking Helm’s Deep!

In The Hobbit, he now has THIRTEEN dwarves to use as comic relief, dozens of teen heartthrobs (martin freeman, kili and fili, c*mberbatch and legolas appearing for NO reason at all!!!) as well as turning a children’s story into another needlessly epic movie (just like Alice in Wonderland and Snow White and the Huntsman).

Not to mention, TDKR wasn’t as good as the hype made it out to be, so i fear that Jackson is going to ruin The Hobbit just like he did with The Two Towers…

I don’t want to play guitar, I don’t want to write fan fictions, I don’t want to do homework, I don’t want to work, I don’t want to do anything except cuddle with the one I love…
