I guess I won’t be seeing Wicked after all…
I hope thelastboleyngirl will get to see it, though

(once again, I can’t make any guarantees that I will be seeing Wicked, due to a certain somebody being fickle and flaky)

Okay, so here’s the update on who I MIGHT see if I see Wicked. First, it was going to be Mamie Parris and KRC (who I probably saw), but that was not to be…

Then KRC left and now, for the time being, Alli Mauzey, formerly Broadway’s G[a]linda stepped in. I was okay with this, until it was stated that, the very day after my birthday, Mamie Parris would leave, but no replacement had been named…

Fan-girls and tumbling people, I give you the 2008-2009 Broadway Elphaba-G[a]linda pair, now reunited in the 2012 1st National Tour! Unless I see Wicked on the very day of my birthday (highly unlikely), it is quite likely that I will be seeing Nicole Parker and Alli Mauzey in the 1st National Tour of Wicked (the closest to Broadway I can hope to come).
Since my mother is determined to wait to the very last minute to even think about getting tickets for Wicked in Sacramento (almost guaranteeing that they will all be sold out when she finally does decide to buy them), and since she won’t even give me a straight answer, I’m gonna just go ahead and say it.
It’s probably not going to happen, Wicked 2012. 2008 will be my first and last time I ever see Wicked.

I discovered last night that I need to get more serious about my musicianship. After all, it’s more likely that 2012 will indeed be the end of the world than that I will ever find love.
So yeah, recording equipment or no, I’m gonna have to devote myself 100% to my music, because that’s about all I’ve got going in my life right now.
I’d make a Wicked and Metal blog, but I don’t know who’d follow it, other than me. Metal-heads think Wicked is ‘gay show-tunes’ and Wicked fans think metal is ‘angry, satanic background noise.’ (Well, when you spam nothing but ‘Glee Glee Glee’, am I supposed to believe that you actually love Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and/or Metallica?)
